1. C# Software Developer (Desktop/WPF)#
We are looking for a developer passionate about the .NET ecosystem to build complex desktop applications for the industrial sector. You will develop and maintain software for process supervision and control, working closely with our automation department.
Technical requirements:
- Knowledge of C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience developing desktop interfaces with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and XAML.
- Command of the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) pattern.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio (latest versions) as the main development environment.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and ORMs (Entity Framework).
- Use of GIT for source control.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of UI component libraries (e.g. DevExpress, Telerik).
- Experience communicating with hardware devices (drivers, serial/TCP protocols).
- Knowledge of middleware (e.g. RabbitMQ).
2. Full Stack Developer (C# / Angular)#
We are looking for a versatile developer able to build modern web solutions, from backend to frontend. You will work on data management portals, industrial monitoring dashboards and cloud-ready applications.
Technical requirements:
- Backend: solid knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core Web API and RESTful architectures.
- Frontend: experience with Angular (recent versions) and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Angular Material.
- Experience managing SQL databases and data migrations.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD concepts.
3. PLC Programmer#
We are looking for a technician experienced in programming automation logic for machines and plants. You will be responsible for PLC software development, drive configuration and integration with HMI/SCADA systems.
Technical requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of the IEC 61131-3 standard languages (in particular Ladder and Structured Text).
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/1500, S7-300, S7-400) and/or Beckhoff (TwinCAT) platforms.
- Skills in configuring industrial networks (Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus).
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and P&IDs.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the OPC UA protocol for IT/OT data exchange.
- Previous experience in motion control.
- Previous experience as a PLC programmer in the steel industry.
4. Project Manager#
To support Qualibit’s growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to run software development and automation projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets and the quality expected by the customer are met.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and monitoring project activities (Gantt, WBS).
- Coordinating the development team and managing resources.
- Acting as the main customer interface for requirements gathering and progress reviews.
- Risk management and problem solving.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Management, Computer, Electronic) or equivalent experience.
- Technical background (former developer or designer) to understand project complexity.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
5. Automation Systems Commissioning Technician#
We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on person to commission our software at end customers’ plants. You will be the reference point in the field, bringing machines to life, testing the software and solving start-up issues.
Responsibilities:
- Software commissioning at customer sites (Italy and abroad).
- On-site software debugging.
- Training the customer’s operators.
Requirements:
- Technical diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation engineering.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, including long assignments.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot hardware/software.
- Good knowledge of English.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience as an automation technician in the steel industry.
6. Technical Sales Engineer#
We are looking for a sales professional with a technical background to develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will bridge customers’ needs and our software and automation solutions, managing the entire consultative sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing the customer portfolio in the industrial sector.
- Analysing technical requests and preparing complex quotations together with the technical team.
- Commercial negotiation and deal management.
- Scouting new market opportunities and attending trade fairs.
Requirements:
- Technical education (diploma or degree in IT/electronics/automation).
- Previous experience in B2B sales of technology products or services.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Driving licence (B) and willingness to travel.
